Two wheel target

Invited to submit for the ‘Twenty / 20’ annual auction fundraiser, I jumped at the opportunity to once again shed light on the obscenely high incarceration rates & deaths in custody of First Nations peoples since the inception of colonisation.

Using a stylised Aboriginal flag design & produced in an exaggerated dotted effect, the target appears at the rear of the head, effectively identifying the individual in the eyes of the ‘authorities’. As though the Police are Magpies… swooping in for their attack.
