• Refurbishing a karli boomerang from Yuendumu and inspired by listening to the ‘Australian True Crime’ podcast throughout Covid-19. I realised that most all modern celebrated ‘hit man’ crime stories are representative of caucasian males. Then arrived the thrilling Warwick Thornton creation ‘Firebite’, and we saw just how menacing an Aboriginal male could be wielding one of these iconic Western Desert boomerangs.
